"THE DANGER OF POWER WITHOUT PURITY "

Matthew 7:21-23; I Corinthians 13:1,2; Luke 9:1,2 with John 12:4-6; Hebrews 6:4-6; Matthew 24:24,25; 1 Corinthians 9:24-27. Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which in heaven. Many will say unto me in that day Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will i profess unto them, I never knew you; depart from me, ye that work iniquities. There are going to be a lot of disappointment, weeping and gnashing of teeth on the last day for many people who are not free from sin yet involve in ministry. They manifest power without purity. Power without purity will damn the soul in hell. Pentecostal power is not a substitute for sanctification, for holiness of heart and life. Charismatic gifts are no substitutes for transparency of intention and purity of motives. Ability to do something effectively in the church is not a substitute for sincerity of motive, holiness of character and honesty in business dealings. Success in life's pursuits is not a substitute for freedom from all forms of immorality. The mere possession of the gifts of the Spirit is no guarantee that a man or a woman must definitely get to heaven. No gift of prophecy, of word of wisdom or word of knowledge, no gift of faith to move mountains or to work miracles can replace the holiness experience. Holiness of life and purity of heart is the pivotal requirement for making heaven. Are you ready to stand before God who knows all the secrets that you are covering up? Are you ready to meet the Lord face to face? Amos says: "prepare to meet the Lord thy God" (Amos 4: 12). Job says: "put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles" (Job 22:23). Jeremiah says: "wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved" (Jeremiah 4: 14). Paul says: "come out from among them, and be ye separate and touch not the unclean thing" (2 Corinthians 6: 17). Jesus says: "remember from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do thy first works" (Revelation 2:5). “Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity” 2Timothy.2:19.
